Empties #3

I think here we can all agree, that keeping your empty products for a month, just for the sake of a blog post is something that only crazy bloggers do. But here I am today again, with a recap of all the products that I’ve recently used up, which of them I liked, which I didn’t and so on..

1. Body Products

There’s not much to say, I’ve used up two shower gels, and I’m very happy because that means I can buy more now πŸ˜€

Cien Shower Cream for Sensitive Skin – that is LIDL’s own brand, and to be honest, I didn’t have any high expectations for it. It was alright and had a nice fresh scent.

Would I buy again: No, because I don’t like buying the same shower gel over and over again (with a few exceptions).

Do I recommend: Yes, it’s okay, nothing bad would happen if you try it out. It is super affordable, so why not.

All Naturals in Angelica and Argan Oil – I’ve never seen this brand in the UK before, but it was really good. Definitely prefer it over the Cien one.

Would I buy again: Actually yes, it’s has really amazing feminine flowery scent!

Do I recommend: Yes, if you can find it, definitely grab one!

2. Skin Care

Here we have some absolute hits and misses!

Say Yes to Cucumbers Micellar Cleansing Water – Yes! I loved it. It has a really funny pump, but it’s actually really convenient to use. It also smells like cucumbers and leaves your skin super soft.

Would I buy again: Yes, if I could. I think you can find this brand in Canada only, so if you are there, definitely grab one bottle!

Do I recommend: Yes!

NIP+FAB Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads – I’m unsure about this one. It was a sample with only 5 pads, and I don’t think I saw a difference for that period. Maybe if I’ve used it longer… I don’t know. I can only say that my skin was getting a bit reddish after every use, so it was working, maybe?

Would I buy again: I don’t really need it at the moment, but I might give it another chance in the future.

Do I recommend: Not sure as I didn’t see any significant results myself.

Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub – I don’t know if you can see on the photo, but the product is still more than half full. That says a lot. First, I don’t think it’s blackhead eliminating (from the first day) as it claims. Second, it’s not very scrubby, if you know what I mean. It doesn’t leave my skin softer or anything. And third, it’s a bit sticky and difficult to rinse. Definitely not my favourite, and goes straight in the bin.

Would I buy again: Not this product in particular, but I would try anything else from Neutrogena.

Do I recommend: No, as I didn’t like it myself.

3. Make Up

Maybelline Fit Me concealer – I had such a love/hate relationship with this concealer! At first I used it every day, then I dumped it for some reason, and then I started loving it again. It’s good on my under eye area, but terribly orange if I had to cover something on my skin.

Would I buy again: Not at the moment, because I have a few concealers now, but probably in the future?

Do I recommend: It’s definitely not my favourite concealer, but it’s worth trying anyway.

Fake Kylie Liquid Lipstick – you can read my thought on the product here.Β

Would I buy again: No, I don’t need more of it πŸ˜€

Do I recommend: No, and be careful with using fake products.

Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation – that’s a product that I’ve rediscovered recently and I really loved.

Would I buy again: Already have, so stay tuned – a review is on its way!

Do I recommend: Yes, absolutely.

Primark False Eyelashes –Β those are the first pair of eyelashes I’ve ever used, so I can’t really compare them, but overall, for Β£1 I don’t feel like they were the best quality πŸ˜€

Would I buy again: Probably not.

Do I recommend: Em, no.

4. Hair Products

Well done, you’ve made it! One last product!

Batiste Dry Shampoo Original – I had such high expectations which unfortunately weren’t met. However, I tried another Batiste Dry shampoo and fell in love immediately, so stay tuned for that as well!

Would I buy again: Not this one.

Do I recommend: No.

Oh that was a long one, wasn’t it! But at the same time Empties posts can help you find so many gems (or save your money).

Thank you for reading as always, have you tried any of those products before?

How unfortunate you didn’t like the Batiste dryshampoos :/ They’re some of my favorites, and love how many scents they have, and in different shades. I really enjoy Lidl showergels. They’re affordable, smell nice and cleanses without drying my skin. I haven’t tried that one you’ve mentioned though. Loved the individual photos <3

The Batiste 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner is amazing! I much prefer it to the normal, it doesn’t leave your hair feeling horrible and dry xx

I never tried Batiste dry shampoos here, so I never tried them. I usually actually use baby powder as a dry shampoo. I tried fake kylie kylighter and was surprised how well it looks on skin. Definitely agree that people should be really careful with trying fake products. xx

Dry shampoos in Bulgaria are also quite pricey as well, but here in the UK are very affordable. I tried using baby powder but couldn’t deal with the smell πŸ˜€

Ahh I really enjoy empties posts, probably because I usually lose products or forget about them before I manage to exhaust them hahah. Would absolutely love to try out that cucumber cleansing water, it sounds so refreshing!

I really love batiste dry shampoo! I buy it every single time. However, this time I tried the Colab Dry shampoo and I actually really love it! It doesn’t make my hair white at all! x

I love Batiste dry shampoos but with that particular one, I always feel like it smells weird and not very refreshing
