I don’t usually bin anything before using it up, but of course, there are a few exceptions. Before I start, I have to tell you that I’m not saying that the products listed here are bad. They just didn’t work out for me, which is okay, because we are all different. As you can see from the picture below, there are going to be make up and skin care products. Anyway, let’s get it started!
1. Himalaya Purifying Neem Face Wash
Why I’m throwing it: It’s gel and that’s the formula I sincerely hate! It’s sticky and gross and it was really heavy and difficult to wash off. I couldn’t use it on my eyes, because it stings as hell. It was also waaaaay too drying for me. I’ve used up almost half of the product, so I’ve given it plenty of chances.
Why you might like it: If you don’t mind gel formulas and have really oily skin – it might work out for you. It foams a little when water is added. It also has this greeny scent, which might be pleasant for some of you. It’s free from soap and parabens and it’s also cruelty-free.
2. Himalaya Acne-n-Pimple Cream
Why I’m throwing it: Honestly I don’t hate the brand itself, it’s just that these two products aren’t working out for me. I didn’t like this one because it literally does nothing for me. It didn’t dry my pimples and it didn’t make my skin clear. When it dries, it also leaves orange powder on the skin, which is simply terrible.
Why you might like it: To be honest, I don’t see a reason why. But it’s cheap and you won’t lose a lot if you try it. It might work out for you, who knows?
3. Rimmel BB Cream Matte
Why I’m throwing it: It’s just quite old and I don’t really reach out for it anymore. It’s also the lightest shade but I can use it only in the summer. And it’s not matte at all, it’s very dewy. It’s not a bad thing for me, but I just had to mention it.
Why you might like it: It’s has very light and moisturizing texture, and also has SPF. I remember we were hiking once and I burned really bad, except on the face, because I was wearing it 😀 Well done, Rimmel.
4. Golden Rose Mascaras
Why I’m trowing them: Again, because they are old. They used to be my favourite and I’ve bought maybe 10 of them. But then they changed the formula or something, and started stinging to my eyes. Then I found my Maybelline love and stopped using them. I might keep the wand though.
Why you might like it: They are amazing! If you don’t make a reaction to the formula, I’m absolutely sure you’ll love them. Both for volume and length! They are also super affordable, so you won’t make a mistake if you give them a try.
4. Golden Rose Gold Eyeliner
Why I’m throwing it: Because it’s old and I’ve never used it. Like ever! God know why I’ve bought it 😀
Why you might like it: It’s really pretty and long-lasting. If you are into colorful eyeliners, you’ll definitely love it. There were also other shades, and it’s super affordable as well.
Golden Rose is one of my most loved brands so you could also check these two posts where I talk about my favourite lipsticks:
5. Essence Lip Gloss in The Bright Side of Life
Why I’m throwing it: It’s old (okay, we already figured out that I have plenty of old stuff), and I wore it only a few times. I don’t like the shade, because it’s way too bright for my liking and also a bit sticky.
Why you might like it: It’s very pretty bright, almost neon, peachy shade and you might like it if you are into such lippies. It’s also super affordable and perfect for the summer!
It’s nice to throw out a few things, because you make room for new products and fill your room with positive energy, right? Have you tried any of these?
