Review: Love Your Look Palette by Live Love London

DSC_2467Hey there, the second post that I wrote for this blog was about this Love Your Look Palette. However, I feel that it got much less love than it deserves, so now I’m going to tell you all about it. I think I’ve got it from BHS, but that was more than an year ago, so I’m not 100% sure but I believe you can also find it online. It was on sale for around £3 and honestly it’s the best palette ever!

Fun fact: Live Love London is a daughter brand of Make Up Revolution.

Love Your Look Palette

It has 12 shades in total, 4 matte and 8 shimmery. There’s also a sponge brush, and I personally find very useful – it picks up a lot of product. As you can see, I’ve been heavily using 3 of the shades, but now for the summer, I reach for the rest more often. Here are some swatches:

The eyeshadows are extremely creamy and pigmented, as you can see from the pictures above. I like using the big brown shade for a base, and combine it with the dark brown in the outer corner and one of the shimmery shades for an accent. They are really long-lasting, even without a primer.

Now, in the summertime, I like to use just any of the shimmeries, and my favourite are the three on the first row. They don’t smudge, there isn’t any fallout, and definitely deserve your attention.

Honestly, this palette should cost much more than £3, as it’s the best one I have. I take it everywhere with me, because it has all the essential shades. Also the big middle shade can be used as a highlighter. Yes, the packaging is extremely cheap and the front lid is now completely scratched and a little broken, but I can deal with it. They say ‘you get what you pay for’, but with this palette you get so much more!

I’d love to hear your thoughts if you have this palette or would like to try it. Maybe when I go back to the UK I’ll buy one and include it in a giveaway. Would you be interested in that?

Thank you for reading,

That palette is very loved, I can tell! LOL. That’s the best feeling in the world, when you get a palette and can’t stop using it. I have like three different ones that I reach for often lol.
Anyway, the shades do look very creamy, even on the pan! 🙂
