Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I’m finally back after a few days off, and I’m now working on scheduling my future posts! Before I start with today’s review, just a quick question for all of you – after the huge success of my last Christmas post, I was wondering if you’d be interested to read more about our Bulgarian traditions? Or maybe posts about my trips and experiences?
Anyways, today’s post is dedicated to a Rimmel lipstick from their The Only One collection. The shade I’ve got is 760 Ain’t No Other, although I initially wanted the 700 shade, which unfortunatelly I couldn’t find anywhere.
The lipstick costs £6.99 in Boots, but I’ve got it for less from a TK Maxx-like store. The packaging is okay, but I find it rather funny because of the wide-ended cap. I like the colour stripe, because it shows you the shade of the lipstick inside. And I don’t know about you, but I definitely prefer the black packaging over the red one!
The formula of the lipstick is really creamy and moisturizing. It gives you kind of a matte finish, but doesn’t dry your lips completely. It’s not transfer-proof unfortunately, but it’s long-lasting nevertheless. The funniest thing is that it has a really nice fresh scent, which reminds me of cucumbers 😀
Overall I really like it for a drugstore everyday lipstick, the shade is really beautiful and wearable, and the formula is not drying at all. Obviously it’s not the best lipstick I’ve ever tried but for a fiver, I can’t complain.
Have you ever tried any Rimmel lipstick, and if so, is it just me, or they are really cucumber scented? 😀
