What I Had This Sunday – #1

Sundays are usually my days off, which means I’m either too lazy to lift a finger or really energetic and buzzing around. I decided to start this series to motivate myself to come up with nice meal ideas, and don’t rely on noodles or frozen pizza.

This Sunday I was kind of in between, I got out of bed quite late, and because I wasn’t hungry I did a few chores first.

I had my breakfast/lunch at around 1 in the afternoon and it was something I usually have: toast with Philadelphia, ham, cherry tomatoes and some coloured salt on top (that won’t be unfamiliar for those of you who attended my 1k Blog Party!.)

As it was already too late for another lunch, I decided to have a cup of hot chocolate with a biscuit in the mid afternoon. I’ve also prepared some rice for later, because I’d planned to have a sushi night wow!

I really can’t explain why, but I’m sushi obsessed these days! I’m craving sushi all the time and if I had to choose to eat only one type of food for a week, you guessed it right – that’d be sushi. I guess I’m not doing it like all those Japanese chefs, and my fish is not raw, but trust me – it’s crazy delicious. I even shared how I make mine, and you can read about it here.

So that was me and my meals for this Sunday, hope you enjoy reading that kind of posts. What do you usually have on Sunday, I need some inspiration for next week xx

I think this is a really cute post- I love hearing about how other people spend their Sundays because I’m always looking either for inspiration or.. some reassurance that I’m not the laziest person in the world when I do nothing. Haha! Are these pictures just taken on your phone?

I usually sleep in on Sunday and have a late breakfast at bout 10ish which is normally some poached egg on toast or a bacon and egg sandwich is I’m feeling unhealthy. Then in the mid afternoon I have some fruit or yogurt ( or both! ). Then in the evening it dellenfs I might go for pizza or pasta or just some cheese on toast! It really depends how I’m feeling x
