COLLAB: Why Everybody Should Travel

When you are in the plane without Internet, the only thing you could do is think.

Last month I traveled quite a long distance and finally got home after being away for more than half a year. Between my desperate attempts to take a nap or two and fight my hunger, I was thinking… about all the nice things about traveling.

I’ve asked a few lovely ladies what they loved about traveling and those were the responses I’ve got:

RV Doing This : The moments when you realize how small you are and how gran led the world is! Some things just take your breath away and put everything into perspective!

TheCaffeinatedElephant: I remember when I went to Germany and one thought I kept having was, “I can’t believe I’m looking at the same sky!” It seemed so different to me but it was comforting that it was the same sky I saw at home. I would have to say my favorite part of traveling is spying on the locals and watching the way they live life. I remember enjoying watching kids sail sailboats in a park outside The Louvre and enjoyed speaking broken Italian with an old woman who told me Diet Coke would kill me. Those little things are my favorite parts of .

Amye Marie: I love traveling a lot because it’s amazing seeing how other people live their life and it makes you realize there is so much more out there than just the town you live in. Seeing some poorer cities or countries really makes you grateful too. I think it really helps you become a better person.

Although visiting new places, meeting people, trying local dishes, etc. is always thrilling.. for me, there are two major factors that make me literally addicted to traveling:

  • The level of excitement connected with planning the trip, buying gifts for friends and family, packing, leaving the house, going back because I’ve probably forgot something, telling granny what I want for dinner, shaking in the plane and finally seeing my little town from the clouds.

  • The fact that there’s always somebody who is waiting for you to come back. For me, there isn’t a feeling better than that! It just makes me feel that my world is complete.

What’s your favourite thing about traveling and would you be interested in another collab post?? If so, please let me know!! Thank you for reading as always,

I love travelling too. It’s really my favourite thing besides makeup! πŸ˜‰
For me, it’s learning about how other people live, their history, and understanding their perspective on the world. I love experiencing different local things especially food, fashion and art. I must say though, as much as I love travelling, it is so nice to come home as well. Nothing like sleeping in my own bed after a trip!

Well not everyone has the money or the means to travel as a hobby, but in that case yeah one can explore their nearby areas, while going to work or something, trying to live in the moment.

I absolutely agree, but there are many free ways to travel. Couch surfing, campings, etc. Traveling doesn’t always mean spending thousands on luxuries 🌸

I get your point, but if someone needs to earn wages on a daily basis to feed their family, it’s not appropriate to just leave them be and take a vacation. of course if you have the means then you definitely should travel and your post makes a very fine point at that, but it’s not something everyone can always have.

Are you reading my mind Siyana? Coincidentally, I’m traveling by airplane in 4 days πŸ˜‚ . I travel partially to visit family and partially to visit new places in the world. If you’re interested, do you want to do a collab together on something?

I love that about plane rides. You seriously have nothing, but time to think and reflect on your life.

i really liked this! however, even though you liked the idea that people were waiting for you to come home, did you feel any sadness after coming back? have a nice day~

Thank you! My sadness wasn’t provoked by me being at home or finishing the trip, but more serious problems such as making a comparison and being powerless to change anything πŸ™‚
