Must-have for a spa day: Royal Coffee Scrub Review

Last week I received this lovely package with the scent of happiness, and I can’t keep it a secret anymore! What is that scent, you might ask – it’s coffee, oranges and chocolate. Three of my most favourite things, combined together to treat not only my senses, but also to make my skin incredibly soft. If I’ve got your attention now, then keep on reading!

Naturelle Cosmetics are a brand, which offers a wide range of natural products – soaps, lotions, creams and many more, all of which could be found on their website here. They are a small UK based company, however all of you can try their products, as I believe they ship internationally!

Look at the ingredients, I mean look at them! It’s everything your body could thank you for!

First you have coffee powder – we all know its benefits, right? It helps tightening your skin, boosts the blood circulation, and reduces cellulite and stretch marks!

Then we got some oils – jojoba oil, orange oil, coconut oil, which differ from a product to product, but they help keep the moisture into the skin and provide you with the relaxing scent.

I can’t lie, the scrub is amazing and left my skin so soft and smooth! It’s not too harsh, so it could be easily used on the face as well. Unfortunately, I can’t say for sure if it really reduces cellulite or stretchmarks, because I’ve only used it twice, however, it’s became my favourite ‘royal’ product! The only downside I could think of, is that my bath tube looked like a murder scene after using the scrub – it literally goes everywhere, but that’s not a problem for me anyway.

The Royal Coffee Scrub retails for about £9 (shipping not included) and contains 200g product. I’ve never used something similar before, so I can’t say if that’s a bit pricey or just normal. However, considering its natural ingredients and divine scent (you can also pick from vanilla, tea tree, etc), I believe it’s totally worth it!

Have you ever had any similar experience with coffee scrubs and have you noticed a difference in your skin after using one? Thank you for reading! xx

Actually I did try a orange and chocolate mask some time ago and it smelt heavenly. My pores must have been soaking it up greedily as my senses were craving for a bar of it. But nowadays I whisk up my own coffee scrub because I have a huge pot of coffee granules handy (which I do not like particularly in my cup). And yes, the bath area is such a mess with the coffee scrubbing. That is not my favourite part 😉

I was thinking of doing my own scrub, because why not, the ingredients are so basic and everyone can ‘cook’ them. Unfortunately, I don’t have a coffee machine atm, so I can’t use the coffee dust at the end of my cup, but oh well.. maybe next time! <3

But why not use the coffee granules? I mean I just combine them often with melted coconut oil and just let the two ingredients do the trick. The best bit is the fragrance of coffee. I cannot get enough of it.
