This post is a response to the daily post’s topic – Danger! This is actually my first challenge of that kind, so I’m a bit excited!
Okay, so I definitely wouldn’t say that Glasgow makes it in the top 10 of my favourite cities – it’s far away from that. But it’s charming… in a way, I think. And when the sun gets finally out.. Glasgow transforms into a whole different place. Everything is nice and green and you just can’t get enough of it. On Wednesday, I visited the Pollok Country Park, which is about an hour away from the city center on foot, and definitely managed to set me in my spring/summer mood. It’s obviously not something that you would typically do when you visit Glasgow for a day or two, but you can still follow me around…

If you are lucky you can see one of these fashionable cows.

You can always spot people laying on the ground.

And that’s tiny me over there.
Lovely, lovely place! It’s definitely worth you visit more than any high-end shopping center, cinema or restaurant. You can make your own picnic (like us, and many other people) and just enjoy the surrounding nature. Wish you a sunny week, everyone! 🙂

It certainly looks big and rambling. Those highland cows are my favourite kind of bovines. Not to sink my teeth into though (my husband licks his lips every time he sees them), just to admire their pretty cowlicks.

May 4, 2017 at 11:26 pmThe cutest one I met was on the Isle of Skye. One of her horns shot up to meet the sky and the other pointed down to the ground. For a long time I thought she had lost one of her horns till she waddled past me to show her hidden style quotient.

May 6, 2017 at 12:04 pmI’ve been to Glasgow twice! (I’m from Toronto, Canada) I just love Scotland in general. 🙂
May 6, 2017 at 12:34 pmIt’s a lovely place for a visit, but it can also became a bit dull sometimes. Sunny days like this and beautiful parks are really a breath of fresh air! I would love to explore Canada some day. 🙂
May 6, 2017 at 12:53 pmI’m basically from Glasgow and I completely agree, it’s not everyone’s fav but it’s defo special haha – certainly think the people make Glasgow welcoming and there are some great pubs ☺️
May 7, 2017 at 9:50 pmGlaswegians are one of the most friendly and welcoming people! Glasgow wouldn’t be the same without them and at least 50 times worse! haha

May 8, 2017 at 2:12 pmBeautiful photo😍! I feel I am just going to fall in love.
May 8, 2017 at 4:23 pmOoh pretty!
May 8, 2017 at 8:07 pmNever been to Glasgow. Sounds like more time is needed. This park is beautiful and worth the time. Spring and summer is probably a good time in Scottland?
May 12, 2017 at 6:19 pmYou definitely can’t explore Glasgow in a day or two. In my humble opinion, the best time to visit it is in the spring (if you are lucky to get some sunny days) or in autumn. September is your moment ❤️
