I was in Edinburgh! Again! And I feel like I don’t go out in Glasgow as much as I do in Edinburgh 😀 Anyways, this time, my mom and I visited one of the attractions on the Christmas market – the Ice Adventure. Basically, you go in a freezer for 20 minutes and then leave in awe of the amazing ice figures.
I’m going to share just a few photos, because I don’t want to ruin the magic if you want to see it too.
There were maybe 20 different figures – birds and other animals, some mythical creatures, the Loch Ness monster, and other symbols of Scotland. But to me, the two stags fighting was the most breath-taking of them all! The lighting and the atmosphere was absolutely magical!
The guy who created them was also there and told me that one big figure takes about 4 days to be done! 4 DAYS! Imagine all the hard work going into a single piece, that is going to vanish after a couple of weeks… And imagine how cold his hands must be all the time!
At the end of the walk, you could get a drink out of an ice ‘glass’ (well, a glass is supposed to be.. glass, isn’t it), and sit on the throne for one last photo. The temperature inside was the freezing -10, but it was absolutely worth it!
Have you ever visited such attraction, and if not, would you be interested to? Thank you for reading, hope you have an amazing Christmas!
