Okay, that’s a post I’m super excited about and I don’t know where to start from! It’s a make up conspiracy, a morphe 25A conspiracy.
The conspiracy
First of all, I’ve never been a Morphe fan. Yes, their palettes look pretty but I don’t admire the company values and policies. I don’t have any personal reasons, it’s just a gut feeling.. you know.
A couple of weeks ago, I saw a Bulgarian brand on Facebook, which was selling exactly the same Morphe palettes but under a different company name of course, and the price tag was significantly smaller. That triggered my curiosity and made me look up for some reviews. Then I stumbled upon a blog, where it was said that a few companies are buying their palettes from a wholesale and then resale them under a different name (Morphe being one of them). Which to me meant only one thing – go buy a non-branded palette from ebay and test it out!
I found this seller with 99% positive feedback and then I thought – why not. I ordered the 25A palette, although it was difficult to decide between the two palettes because they were both super pretty. It was expected for my palette to come between the end of August and the beginning of September, which is a long time, but reasonable enough for the price I had to pay (around £7 + free shipping). To my surprise, I got the palette yesterday (11 of August) which was truly shocking for me 😀
Anyway, we are constantly being told to be careful with ‘fake’ make up! However, on the envelope it was written the following … ‘this item does not contain any dangerous articles prohibited by legislation‘ – which probably means ‘safe to use’. What do you think about that? If it’s explicitly written, then it must be true?
The packaging:
I’ve never seen how Morphe palettes are packaged, so please let me know if this box looks legit to you. We have the palette nicely wrapped in bubbles, we have the ‘Limited Edition’ label… everything looks okay (I guess). The only thing is that they’ve made a mistake with is the box itself. They’ve sent me the Bronzed Mocha palette box, while I got the actual Copper Spice Palette inside.
The shadows:
Okay, that’s the most exciting part of all – the shades! They look stunning and pretty much like in a legit Morphe palette! I don’t know about you, but I’m kind of convinced this palette is not fake! Just look at how pretty it is! I’m absolutely blown away!
The pigmentation:
Now it’s time to test out the shades! To be absolutely honest with you, the matte shades are not very impressive . They are soft, somewhat pigmented and easy buildable, but not to die for. The shimmers on the other hand .. oh my, that’s a whole different story! It’s actually very common for the shimmer shades to be better than the matte ones, but let me show you some swatches.
The palette:
I’m very impressed with the quality of this (Morphe 25A) palette. Is it a real Morphe, is it not – I cannot say.
Can you see how pretty and crazy pigmented these are?? Because I can and I’m absolutely in love with them! I don’t know what to say. I kind of believe in that practice of Morphe but again, it might be because I dislike them in the first place. I’m not too sure which one it is, but I’m convinced that the palette I got is legit ‘Morphe’ palette (to an extent where Morphe is actually doing their own palettes, which I start to doubt now).
What do you think about this Morphe 25A conspiracy? Does it look legit to you? Let me know in the comments down below!
Thank you for reading,

I also don’t like Morphe, they don’t produce their makeup, they just buy unbranded palettes and print their name on them. So why not save some money and buy unbranded palette. I might buy it just because of shimmers, they are really impressive. xx
August 12, 2017 at 6:35 amAbsolutely 🌸 I’m even considering getting the second palette!
August 12, 2017 at 7:32 amAhhh I’m in love with the palette colours! Might even get one of my own. ❣️
August 12, 2017 at 10:58 amIt’s worth trying 😊
August 12, 2017 at 11:00 amThat looks exactly like the Morphe palette from the inside and the shimmery shades look just as pigmented as the morphe ones in my opinion!
August 12, 2017 at 12:08 pmI think the same!
August 12, 2017 at 1:04 pmFrom where did you get that?
August 12, 2017 at 12:12 pmIt’s from ebay, do you need the seller? Just search for 25A palette and you’ll find dozens of them!
August 12, 2017 at 1:37 pmok,I will search .Thanks
August 13, 2017 at 12:36 pmWow that is very interesting! I never knew about the whole buying palettes and selling it under their name. I just bought a morphe palette to try out because everyone hypes it up so I’m wondering if they’re really just overhyped or actually that good. Great post and review! 💖
August 12, 2017 at 3:36 pmDid you get the same palette or another one? Because I can’t guarantee about all of their products. And I can’t wait to read your review! x
August 12, 2017 at 3:52 pmYou’re very brave! I’m way too scared to buy off-brand makeup. Although that pigmentation is insane!
August 12, 2017 at 11:40 pmI didn’t know about what morphe did! Glad I’ve never bought from them. It looks the same to me, and it looks like a great palette! I’m gonna have a cheeky look on eBay myself now 🙂 xx
August 13, 2017 at 12:41 pmI was super surprised as well, but apparently – it’s true. 🙁 Would love to see your review though ^^
August 13, 2017 at 4:14 pmI’ve not tried the Morphe version of this palette, but this seems great! Those swatches are insane xx

August 13, 2017 at 8:13 pmI haven’t tried it either but I feel like I don’t even need to!
August 14, 2017 at 7:25 amWow – gorgeously pigmented and such pretty colours!xx
August 14, 2017 at 8:45 amAbsolutely 🤗

August 14, 2017 at 11:39 amThanks hun! Will definitely make one! 😊
August 14, 2017 at 5:14 pmGreat!!!
August 16, 2017 at 1:25 pmWow! It looks so similar! I definitely think it’s legit. A lot of those cheap companies are said to pull from a big manufacturer that could easily produce the same product with a different label. That’s cool that you found such a deal, though! I would love to see a look you create using this palette!
August 14, 2017 at 7:24 pmIt’s amazing indeed but it makes me a little sad that big companies like Morphe sell products on such high prices and you have to pay for shipping separately! And at the same time you could find the same unbranded palette… just my thoughts 😁 I can’t wait to play some more with it though and come up with a summer glam look 😊❤️
August 14, 2017 at 7:58 pmOhhh wow, it looks so beautiful! I love how you have captured the shades, so stunning! 😀 xx
August 15, 2017 at 4:36 pmI’ve never heard that about Morphe, that’s interesting. It may or may not be true, lots of companies are kind of shady lol.
August 23, 2017 at 6:14 pmAnyway, it’s a nice palette and I couldn’t say if it was legit, I don’t own any Morphe palettes. I wanted to buy an all mattes palette but I was told that the only good thing they got going for them, are their shimmery and glittery shades, their mattes are really chalky and that of course, turned me away lol.
I’m actually very happy with this palette and I don’t really care if it’s genuine or not 😀 The matte shades are stunning and it’s super easy to work with them. Of course, the shimmery ones are way more beautiful, but overall, I’m super happy with both 🙂
