If you don’t remember, this Huda Beauty Mauve Obsessions palette was on my Birthday wishlist, and although my birthday was almost two months ago, I finally got it!! I was really excited to have it and didn’t touch for a few days, because I was too scared not to ruin it or get disappointed.
All shades have different textures from one another – some are the softest thing I’ve ever touched, others are dry or creamy. They all blend like a dream and are very long-lasting. I think I’m mostly impressed with the white shade because it’s really pigmented and actually visible on my pale skin, and I’m obsessed with those pink shimmers! I used this palette to create my Pink Valentine’s make up look and I loved it!!
Do I think it’s worth the £25 considering its size and only 12 eyeshadows? Well, to me, yes, it’s absolutely worth it, because it’s my first ever high end eyeshadow palette (and I really wanted to finally have one), and I see myself using it very often, even for not so bright everyday looks. I also never had any pinky/purple shades, so I was interested in experimenting. Probably I won’t buy the rest of the obsessions, as I’m not that interested in them, but the Mauve Obsession was definitely a hit for me.
However, if you are not interested in buying this palette and want to find a dupe for it – I think I may have found one! It cost me only £3.50 and you might want to try it for yourself! I’ll be talking about it on Tuesday, when my next post is going to be up, and here’s a little sneak peek! Do you have any ideas what might be the dupe palette?
