Recently I’ve received a lovely package from the Love Me Beauty company, and you can read all about it right here (in case you’ve missed it). Today I will review the Nuxe cleansing products – or two of the samples that I’ve got – NUXE Face Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel and NUXE Gentle Exfoliating Gel.
NUXE Face Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel
First is the NUXE Face Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel. It is recommended to be avoided for the eye area, however I used it for my eye make up and it did its job beautifully, without any stinging or giving any unpleasant sensations.
To me, it smells like something between wood and warm wax. It’s a strange scent which is difficult to be described, however I find it very luxurious and even kind of relaxing.
As it’s a gel, I would expect a gel-like formula, but to me it looks like liquid-y honey! The cleanser doesn’t make any foam at all (which I honestly don’t really enjoy as I’m a huge foam lover), but I very much like how gentle it is. It also doesn’t leave the skin super dry, or sticky or whatever. It’s just lovely.
Update: As it’s a great size for traveling, I’ve been taking it with me to a few places. After using the Gel, I do feel my skin clean and soft. However, I also notice some pimples, and my skin is normally very clean. I decided not to use this product anymore, just in case.
NUXE Gentle Exfoliating Gel
Then it’s the NUXE Gentle Exfoliating Gel, which honestly is my preferred choice between the two. It smells like roses, but in a very subtle way.
It’s recommended for sensitive skin, and I totally approve it. It looks just like the cleanser, as it has the same honey formula, but also contains some small exfoliating pieces, which are just enough for a perfect scrub without being too rough.
Love me Beauty box
When you sign for the Love Me Beauty subscription, you get 60 credits to spend on various beauty products of your choice. The cleanser and the scrub are definitely worth trying as they cost only 10 credits each, and leave you with 40 more. Just now, there is the Kat Von Di Tattoo Liner sample, and some other stuff that absolutely deserve your attention. The subscription costs £10 (or £9 or £8 depending on your desired period), but you can get 20% off if you use my code siyana20.
Have you tried anything from NUXE before? Please let me know what are your thoughts about it and if you are considering getting the subscription! Thank you for reading. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram x

I have the Nuxe oil and i love it 🙂
May 22, 2017 at 8:50 pmNuxe is a great brand. Products that foam, tend to contain a lot of the chemical SLS, which can be quite irritating to skin. Nuxe is quite natural which might be why it doesn’t foam. Great review. xx
May 22, 2017 at 9:54 pmMy favourite is Avene foam, as it is so light and easy to use! Some of the gels give me this weird feeling, but I agree – too much is never good! Thank you x

May 23, 2017 at 12:59 amThat makeup removing gel does look like honey! I guess it makes sense since it’s part of their reve de meil line.
May 24, 2017 at 1:04 amI’ve tried a few things from Nuxe and haven’t been blown away. Their micellar water is pretty good. My favourite item of their remains the multipurpose oil which I like in my hair and it smells intoxicating.
I still haven’t tried the oil but I will soon(ish) 🌞Is it better for skin or for hair?
May 24, 2017 at 1:32 amIt’s honestly good for both but I prefer it for the hair. It’s like a dry oil but you don’t have that greasy feel. I like it for the scalp too!
May 24, 2017 at 1:39 amGreat review, I’ve never tried anything by Nuxe before, but this sounds like a lovely product xx
May 24, 2017 at 2:54 pmYou should definitely try any of the NUXE products as they are natural and so gentle on the skin, and LMB is the perfect opportunity for that x
