Review: Primark Pure Glow Highlighter!

Heeey it’s a review day! I so much love doing these. And it’s Easter as well! Can you imagine how fast time flies!? I honestly refuse to accept that we are almost halfway through the year!

Anyway, today I’m going to review one of my latest picks from Primark – PS… Pure Glow Highlighter, which I already mentioned in one of my recent posts – My mini Primark haul. Now, PS.. is not a brand that I absolutely trust – first, because it’s ridiculously cheap and second, because it’s not even sold in a drugstore!

As you can see – it sells for £3 and you can’t really go wrong with such price. You get quite a lot of product, 9g to be precise. The packaging is very basic, and I must say – sometimes a bit too hard to open. You get a very pretty pattern on top and two shades to choose from – Pink Prosecco, which I got, and Champagne, which I found to be too orange for my skin tone but obviously someone else might like it more than me.

It does look a bit pinky when swatched, but blends very nicely on the skin. Yes, I must admit that I use it more as a blush, rather than a highlighter, because it would definitely look a bit awkward as one. Also, when blended almost all the pink goes off and gets a bit of a golden sheen, but I still don’t find it being appropriate as a highlighter. It’s a very subtle powder product, and not dusty at all! I haven’t seen even one single piece of dust falling out at any point! It does not have the strongest staying power, but it’s just fine I guess. I kind of have a love-hate relationship with this product, because I don’t like it extremelty, but I’m obsessed with putting it on top of my cheeks when I go out, lol!

Overall: It’s not a bad product, like I said, you can’t really go wrong for £3. It’s not my favourite as well, but I really don’t mind using it.

Would I recommend: yeah, I mean you can try it, but I’m sure there’s a lot of options out in the market which are worth trying more than this one.

Do you have any Primark piece of make up? If so, I’d love to read about it!

Also, I haven’t really been promoting my social media profiles on my blog at all, but I’d appreciate if you could join me on Instagram. Thank you!

So interesting. This product does seem to work better as a blusher. Happy Easter, Siyana!

You must be Rachel then x The brushes are not that bad, I mean for the price, I think it was £1 each – one for foundation and one for eyeshadow. The nail polish was a gorgeous shade but peeled by the end of the day every single time I’ve used it, so I’d say it’s not worth it. x

It’s a gorgeous pink💗 maybe you could use it as a nice shimmering shadow or in the inner corners of your eyes to make your shadow pop.

Gorgeous pink colour! Maybe you could use it in an eye look instead? I just recently bought the strobe palette and I have to admit for £4 it totally rivals my huge love for MAC soft and gentle! xxx

I’ve been side-eyeing these products every tie I’m in Penneys so it’s nice to see an actual review! Did you see they sell hairdryers and all sorts now? Pick a lane, Penneys!

Thank you for the review. I do love using highlighters, but only a small amount. My usual one is a cheap one from superdrug but I might give this one a go! xxx

I have the champagne colour and it works really well on me. I have dark skin. And asyou said, at £3 it doesn’t break the bank
