Sooo, last week I got another product to try – The Rimmel London Lasting Finish Foundation (wow!), and I’ve been testing it for awhile now…. If you ask me how do I get so many product for reviewing – I’ll share my secret with you when I reach 500 followers! I hope it’s not going to be a long wait, so stay tuned!
Rimmel London promises full coverage foundation that lasts for whole 25 hours! Honestly, I don’t wish to anyone to wear make up for that long! I hope all of you are leading stress-free lives and get your regular beauty sleeps with your make up off <3
Anyway, I’ve been wearing this foundation a few times at work – it’s a warm busy bar with plenty of movements involved. So the foundation easily passed the test – when I got home after my 8+h long shift, it was still in place. My face got a bit oily halfway through, however nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a pinch of powder.
So the foundation is liquid, but not too runny (as you may see), and goes out of a pump, which I very much like. I mentioned that because I know there are some foundations that need to be squeezed or taken out with a spatula – that’s not the case here and I’m so happy about it!
The foundation applies easily on the skin, does not feel heavy at all, but dries a bit fast. It gives the skin a healthy glow at the beginning, and then it goes semi-matte, and it doesn’t look cakey at all. I didn’t need to put any powder on top – less products to use, what’s better than that! It has SPF 20 and is soooooo moisturising! The only downside I could think of is that I got the foundation in the shade ivory, which was supposed to match my skin perfectly, however, I later figured out that it had a little bit of pinky undertone, which I didn’t enjoy quite a lot, so be careful when you pick yours!
So to conclude:
- SPF 20
- moisturising
- long-wearing
- semi-matte finish
- medium to high coverage
- extremely affordable!
You can get this foundation for £7.99 (what a bargain) from Superdrug or Boots, or even less if there are some offers going on. I definitely recommend it for you to try!
What are your thoughts about this brand – do you have any Rimmel products, and which one is your favourite? Thank you for reading, you are amazing as always!

I love this foundation! I accidentally bought a shade too light so I can’t really use it but it smells so good and the coverage is honestly really great!

May 2, 2017 at 8:58 pmI’ve heard really good things about this foundation. It’s not common to find a moisturizing foundation that is also long lasting. And I like that it has a pump!
May 3, 2017 at 2:51 amMy favourite Rimmel products are probably their lipsticks – such good quality and well-priced.
I find it great, but it might not be entirely suitable for people with very oily skin. I’ve never tried their lipsticks and I haven’t bought any in a while… so you know 😀
May 3, 2017 at 2:53 amDo it! The Kate Moss Lasting Finish line is the one that I love. 😀
