The Body shop products are probably some of my favourite – their body butters, scrubs and creams all smell so lush!
I was kindly invited to a Body Shop event in Glasgow, which aimed to inform us about some of the newest Body Shop sustainability practices.
To me, the most impressive thing that I’ve learnt on this event was that the Body Shop pays local communities in India to hand-pick plastic that is later recycled and used in the Body Shop packaging. How amazing is that!
The second great thing is that if you return 5 empties, you get £5 to spend in the Body Shop!
We were all given a goody bag with a few cool items.
Banana Truly Nourishing Shampoo – 60ml
The shampoo is from the Body Shop new banana collection. I really like that it is travel sized but I haven’t had the chance to try it yet. It smells yummy though!
The Body Shop Shea Hand Cream – 30ml
Not a huge fan of hand creams but this one is so good. Shea is one of my favourite scents from the Body Shop and the cream is so nourishing!
The Body Shop Shea Soap
Another lovely shea product. Have you tried the Body shop soaps? Are they as good as the creams and body butters?
The Body Shop Vitamin E Quench Sheet Mask
I use the night cream from the same Vitamin E range and I can confirm that is good. Haven’t tried this mask yet but I have high hopes!
And the best is for last! Did you know that you can print your own labels from one of the printing machines in the Body Shop stores? You can also customise selfies, add stickers, letters and matching colours. Perfect for a gift, isn’t it! I did my label in the Body Shop store in St Enoch shopping centre in Glasgow.
The machine is also really easy to use and there is always a kind assistant who can help you if you struggle!
Obviously I can’t wait to try all of my new Body shop goodies. Let me know in the comments down below – do you have such printing machines in your local Body shop store? And which is your favourite Body Shop product?
