Hello everyone, the next week is going to be so busy for me, but I have tons of scheduled posts coming up, so stay tuned! Today I’m going to review the single eye shadow, which I received with my Floral Box, and which is a collaboration of the adorable youtuber Marzia with Winky Lux Eyeshadow.
First I want to appreciate one of the most beautiful packages ever! It’s just so pretty and feminine, I love it!
The eye shadow comes in a cute little pot, which can be somehow installed in a palette. There are also several more shades, which are all inspired by nature. My shade is called ‘Fire‘, and it’s red-oringey-totally-not-me shade.
First impressions – very pigmented (as expected) but also very dusty. You can actually see a ton of fall out, but I guess you can’t have everything, right?
So that’s kind of the look I’ve managed to achieve using this reddish shade. It’s easy to blend, and like I’ve said – it’s very pigmented, so you don’t need a lot of it. I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone, as I’ve never tried to wear red eye shadow before (to me red eyeshadow make people look tired, sick or beaten). Anyway, I’m very happy with the outcome but I doubt I’d wear that on a daily basis, as it is so bright and unusual! But who knows, people change!
So, to conclude: If you are a fan of some extravagant shades, you’ll definitely love it! Just this shade costs 9$, which to me is a bit pricey for a single eye shadow, but it’s absolutely worth it as little goes a long way and it’s super pigmented. And as a bonus – it could be used as blush as well 😀
What’s your experience with red eye shadow, I’m curious to know! And thank you for reading! xx

These shades are perfect for crease mixed with neutral browns. Also they are suitable for green eyes, very nice color. xx

May 20, 2017 at 8:21 amI love this colour! I got the gold shade ‘Sole’ but would have preferred this. I understand how it would be too vibrant for many though xo

By the way, are those cactus candles in the background? They’re so adorable. 💕

May 20, 2017 at 9:34 pmI think this is like a sunset color. I love this warm tone color.
Thank you very much. The shade is gorgeous itself, but is kind of weird to wear 😁
May 21, 2017 at 2:26 amI think it is good when you have day-off. I can’t wear very bright color to work since that doesn’t look professional in my opinion.
May 21, 2017 at 4:40 amAs I work in a bar, it definitely would be better to wear it on work, rather than outside 😁but we’ll see, summer is coming 😊😊
May 21, 2017 at 12:57 pmWearing it to work! It will look good in a bar. I work in an office so… XD But, I wear glasses anyway, I think I can still pop some vivid color in summer 😉
May 21, 2017 at 5:18 pmYou managed to tame it so well ! Love how you shaped the colour on your lid 😊

May 21, 2017 at 2:29 pmThat color looked so bold when I saw it in her video, but you pull it off really well! I got Sole in my floral box so I’m brainstorming how to use it
May 22, 2017 at 3:30 amThank you! I think you can try it in the same way, just put it where I put my lighter shade and also under the bottom lashes. Can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with 🌸🌸
